New three-story building to replace an existing Interventional Radiology facility. The first floor includes replacement of the IR lab and clinical support spaces, new ultrasound suite, CT, MRI and administrative support spaces. Second floor addition includes five new operating rooms with hybrid operating rooms and 20 bed prep/recovery suites. The third floor consists of a large mechanical/electrical penthouse.

Carastro & Associates was responsible for the design of the HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection services for multiple air handling units, medical gases, transfer switches, voice and data systems as well as nurse call, security and fire alarm systems. The project was designed in BIM with complex phasing.
