New construction, 8-story building at Moffitt Cancer Center at the USF campus, with two floors of clinical laboratory space and the balance of the floors contain office space. This project was a complete MEPF design for our firm, from design through construction administration, and included the following:
Mechanical/HVAC: indoor central-station air-handling units; semi-custom indoor central-station air handling units; outdoor central-station air handling units; adjustable frequency drives; along with instrumentation and controls.
Electrical systems: interior and exterior lighting, facility lightning protection, fire protection and alarm system.
Plumbing: facility water distribution; booster pumps; facility sanitary sewerage; facility storm drainage; sump pumps; gas piping systems for laboratory facilities and high purity water systems.
Fire protection: wet-pipe sprinkler systems; preaction sprinkler systems; fire pumps, and fire suppression standpipes.
